The Bass Group Members welcome Carol Young as the incoming Bass Group President.
We wish Pam Mawson, now past Group President, well in her new role as Chairman of the Creative Arts Committee. She will be very busy with the State Exhibition coming up in July, being held in Bendigo.
The 2016 theme is Caring, Sharing, Believing. Our Resource: Chooks and Eggs, Social Issue - Taking action on men's mental health and in doing so recognising the importance of CARERS, Country of Study is Papua New Guinea, Thanksgiving Fund is towards Stroke Health Professional Online Portal - National Stroke Foundation. We also positively encourage Fun, Frivolity and Trival Pursuits.

Every journey/walk starts with one step - and we were off.
Thanks Cowes Branch for organising this - most enjoyable, discussion had about coming back and walking a bit more along the Nature Walk.

Women Walk the World 2013
Hostess Branch: Cowes
Join with us in the global event, all welcome. Around the world women and girls spend hours walking every day to collect water for the most basic of needs. Often girls miss out on education as a result. The women of Associated Country Women of the World around the world are walking over these coming day in recognition and solidarity.
Meet at Rhyll Park at 12md for a Picnic Lunch - BYO lunch, hot water supplied for tea/coffee
then we will walk back towards Cowes along the Nature Walk. Plenty of rest and pick-up spots along the way. It will be a great day!

Getting an early start on the 2013 activities.......
Members from across Bass Group came together for a planning/organising meeting, held at Grantville Hall re craft activities for this year.
