Seven Bass Group members came together this morning and exercised their vocal cords with music provided very ably by Carol on the panio.
We sang quite a few tunes, learnt that very high notes are perhaps not for us, really got into the feel of it all by the end of an hour.
Come and join us on Thursday 24th November, 2011 at the Corinella Community
Centre from 10-15 am.
The 2016 theme is Caring, Sharing, Believing. Our Resource: Chooks and Eggs, Social Issue - Taking action on men's mental health and in doing so recognising the importance of CARERS, Country of Study is Papua New Guinea, Thanksgiving Fund is towards Stroke Health Professional Online Portal - National Stroke Foundation. We also positively encourage Fun, Frivolity and Trival Pursuits.

Members at the State Conference
Members representing the branches of Cowes, Glen Alvie, Loch and W
oodleigh Vale travelled to Ballarat to attend the 83rd Country Women's Association of Victoria Inc. Conference.Five Bass Group Presidents were present at the Conference. These being Mrs Lyn Edden, Mrs Lois Jackson, Mrs Pauline Jordan, Mrs Machelle Crichton and current Group President Mrs Pam Mawson.
Wonderful time had by all, meeting up with many friends from across the State, listening to interesting speakers and discussing many of the Resolutions being put forward.
The State Dinner was enjoyed by all, good food, time to chat and great entertainment.
We came home a bit weary, but we throughly enjoyed the days of this Conference. Best Wishes to Pam Mawson, our new Bass Group President, from all the Bass Group members and friends.
